Remote Jobs in the UAE & Dubai — Async & Fully Remote

Fully remote, asynchronous roles open to candidates living in the United Arab Emirates — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or any other emirate. Gulf Standard Time (UTC+4) is a genuine bridge zone: your morning overlaps South and East Asia, your afternoon overlaps all of Europe, and async-first collaboration takes care of the Americas overnight. That's why many roles here are scoped to EMEA or Middle East coverage where UAE hours are the asset. Hiring runs through a UAE entity, an employer-of-record that sponsors your residence visa and issues a compliant contract, or — for UAE residents already holding a visa — a contractor arrangement. Working language is English throughout.

Frequently asked questions

Can I work remotely from Dubai for a foreign company?

Yes. Companies without a UAE presence usually hire through an employer-of-record, which sponsors your residence visa and issues a UAE-compliant employment contract with end-of-service gratuity. If you already hold a residence visa (through a spouse, a free-zone licence or the UAE's remote-work visa), contractor engagement is also common. Each listing states which arrangement applies.

Are UAE remote salaries tax-free?

The UAE levies no personal income tax on employment income, so a salary paid to a UAE tax resident is generally received gross. Whether that applies to you depends on your residency and your home country's rules, so treat it as something to confirm with an adviser rather than assume. Employers here quote gross figures, and disclosed ranges appear on the listing.

Will I have to work European or US hours from the UAE?

Mostly no. Gulf Standard Time already overlaps the full European workday from mid-morning, and async-first teams hand off in writing rather than holding standing calls, so a normal UAE schedule works alongside colleagues in London or New York. Roles with a required overlap window — typically support or sales scoped to a region — say so in the posting.

Are these roles open across the Gulf or UAE-only?

Both. Listings that name the United Arab Emirates in a short eligibility list appear first; below them are roles open across the Middle East, EMEA or worldwide that UAE-based candidates are equally eligible for. The full eligibility list is on every card, and a few Gulf-scoped roles may also list Saudi Arabia or Qatar.
